FAQ

Is World of Talent going to be a game?

Yes. It will be a straight forward visual novel, with trial mini-game elements. There are currently no plans for exploration elements as with SDR2, but this could change given that programmers with actual experience join the project.

What programs are being used for World of Talent?

All art + GUI Design: Photoshop

Engine: Ren'Py

Music: Taken from Masafumi Takada's original DR compositions. Any original music is made using a combination of Jummbox and FL Studio.

Can I contribute to this project?

If you'd like. We're still looking for background artists, additional programmers, and beta readers, and of course still looking for voice actors. Our casting call club page can be found here, and our blog can be found in the sidebar.

What will this game be rated?

Given that this game is less focused on the fanservice side of Danganronpa and more the storytelling, and keeping the violence level in mind I'd say it's appropriate for those 15 and up. The game does handle a lot of heavy subjects, such as abuse, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, and more. I'll update the front page eventually with a warning, probably around the time I release the first two chapters, but I can't be exactly sure what topics I'll be handling until they come up in writing.
